You can make a difference! How much of your monetary contribution goes to direct relief to clients? 100% of all donations go to direct aid. Cumberland Good Samaritans is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization where donations of funds and goods are tax-deductible. Financial donations can be used to fund multiple programs that may include scholarships, the client barrier fund, the Roy and Joanne Stone Alcohol and Drug Recovery Aid fund, client utility bills, rent, purchasing food for the pantry and other local feeding programs, or for the Christmas program. New programs are constantly being created as we always have our ear in tune to the needs of the community. We try to help wherever we can, such as working to establish a county wide school supply program which is now in place and creating a senior care program to address issues of hunger among the elderly in our county.
