You Can Make a Difference
How much of your monetary contribution goes directly to helping clients? 100%. Every financial donation supports direct assistance for individuals and families in our community. Cumberland Good Samaritans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations of funds and goods are tax-deductible. Financial contributions help support programs such as scholarships, the client barrier fund, assistance with rent and utility bills, food for the pantry and local feeding programs, and the Christmas program.
What we accept: We accept clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, furniture, household goods, toys, books, home décor, and more.
Drop-Off: Located at the far right end of the Thrift Store building available during operating hours. This easily accessible dock area has staff available to help unload your items. Tax receipts are available upon request.
Pickups: We offer pickup for large or heavy items such as furniture and appliances. Please call the store to schedule a weekday pickup.
Westminster Trailer: A drop-off location is available in Fairfield Glade at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Fridays from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. Volunteers are available during this time to receive donations, making it easy for those in that area to drop off boxes, bags, and smaller items.
